Temora Tornadoes look across Tasman

Written by Temora Tornadoes at 06:13 26/7-2009

The cycling world is in shock at the release of one of the Temora Tornadoes' star riders. Long considered the weakest link of the squad, Quinby Haulk failed to make the cut in the future plans of the team.

The controversial decision was made last night by team management and one too many beers.

  Team management commented -
“There is no room for passengers here, if you aren’t going forward, you are going backwards”

The release of Haulk allowed room in the budget for two new riders fresh off the transfer market; Finnish Tarvo Laitila and sheep shagging Nathaniel Wakeman. Both very promising and snapped up at bargain prices.

The recruitment of a New Zealand rider into a predominantly Australian team has been criticized, but the gamble is already paying dividends with Wakeman showing amazing potential and cementing himself as one of the best riders in the team.

ha. that is great. He'd be borderline for me to train and I train plenty of NZders most wouldn't!

Yeah, I will work on Paul claiming that prize back. NZ has had a very strong little group of TTers lately, and I've had hopes one of them might knock off the hour record. Hopefully Cayless or Sa'u can do that -- I think Rustgold's McCracken is probably too old now.

Congrats on Cayless getting 3rd alltime on the hour record (and pipping the NZ record off me!)

Just as a matter of interest, what was Nathaniel Wakeman's potentials? I see you sold him off and he was never trained.
